Uzbek cuisine is unique. Each of the regions has its own kitchen. During this tour you can get acquainted with a variety of dishes. You can also take part in the preparation of some dishes: manti, kebab and samsa, shurpa. Amazingly tasty meat - Bukhara tandoor-kabob, Tashkent lagman, Samarkand Nohat-Shurak, exotic Khorezm Tukhum Barak and Khorezm shivit-oshi. The names of the desserts are many varieties of oriental sweets, sunny fruits, dried apricots, raisins and various types of nuts. In the hotels of Uzbekistan you will be offered an Uzbek breakfast, which includes: kaymak, flat cake, samsa, seasonal fruits and vegetables, tea, navvat, nuts, dried fruits and traditional sweets. The program also includes familiarization with the ancient history of Uzbekistan, historical monuments of the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, which are included in the list of cultural heritage of UNESCO, which in ancient times passed trade caravans of the Great Silk Road.

TASHKENT

Morning landing at the International airport of Tashkent. Meeting at the Tashkent International airport. Guide and driver will meet you with a signboard "BBS Travel".  Transfer to the hotel to leave baggage (check in to the hotel after 14:00).

 

Lunch at local restaurant Soy and taste lagman and shashlyks.

 

City tour around Tashkent: visit of old part of Tashkent: The Khast Imam complex (16c), the Koran of Osman. Madrasah Kukeldash.

Visit Independence square, Amir Temur square.

 

Dinner at traditional tea house (Chaykhana), taste real Uzbek plov and samsa.

 

 

OVERNIGHT IN TASHKENT

TASHKENT-URGENCH-KHIVA (morning flight, 07:25-08:55)

Early Breakfast at the hotel (or breakfast box).

Transfer to local airport to take flight to Urgench.

Arrival in Urgench, transfer to Khiva (30 km). Start sightseeing tour of Khiva:  Visit Ichan-Qala Fortress, ARC fortress, Islom-Khodja Minaret and Madrasah.

 

Lunch at national house Zarafshan, main course khorezmian national meal tuhum barak.  

 

 

Continue sightseeing: Kalta Minaret, Juma Mosque, Palvan Darvoza Ensemble, Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrassah, Toshkhovli Palace, Pakhalavan Makhamud Mausoleum, Allakulikhan Madrassah and Caravan seray.

Dinner at local restaurant Yasaulboshi – main course shivit oshi (hand made noodles of green color because of fresh greens’ juice.  

 

OVERNIGHT IN KHIVA

KHIVA-BUKHARA (440 km, 7-8 hrs)

08:00 breakfast at hotel.

09:00 Ride across the famous Kyzyl-Kum desert and along the Amudarya River to Bukhara.

Lunch en route at café in the desert.

 

Arrival to Bukhara. Check in to the hotel.

Visit to a silk factory where guests can see the complete silk making process.

The guests will be invited to a tea ceremony, with a tasting of various types of tea, including mulberry tea with mulberry sweets.

 


Dinner at local theatre - restaurant Ipak Yuli, you can taste “Baranina po buharski” (Bukhara style lamb) and dolma. During dinner you will  enjoy exclusive show program.

Day 4

BUKHARA

Breakfast.

Bukhara city tour - the pearl of the East, you will visit:  Samanid mausoleum, Chashma Ayub tomb, Bolo-Khauz complex, Ark ancient fortress.

 

Lunch at restaurant Adras – main course manty.

 

 

Continuation of the excursion: a visit to the Lyabi-Hauz ensemble, Kukeldash madrasa, Nodir-Devon-Begi madrasah, trade domes, Poi-Kalon complex, Abdulaziz-Khan madrasah, Ulugbek madrasah.

Dinner at restaurant Caravan – main course chicken Dymlama.

  

 

 

OVERNIGHT IN BUKHARA

BUKHARA-GIJDUVAN-SAMARKAND (280 km, 4-5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel

Drive to Gidjuvan

Visit Center of Gidjduvan school of potters. The owner of the center is Alisher Narzullaev, the famous ceramist of Uzbekistan, visit the Ceramic Museum and gallery.

The tourists can take part in master Classes of cooking traditional Gijduvan bread.

 

Lunch at ceramist’s house, see the prosses of making Gijduvan shashlyks and eat them for lunch.

 

Transfer to Samarkand. Check in to the hotel and have some rest.

 

 

Dinner in the restaurant Karimbek (main dishes: Nohat-Shurak, Kazan Kabob).

SAMARKAND

Breakfast in the hotel.
Excursion in Samarkand: Gur-Emir mausoleum - the tomb of the Great Tamerlane, Registan square (Ulugbek madrasah, Sher-Dor madrasah, Tillya-Kari madrasah) - the most famous square in Central Asia.

Lunch in the center of the plov – taste Samarkand plov with fresh salad and suzma.  

 

After lunch, visit the Bibi-Khanum Mosque, the architectural ensemble of Shahi Zinda, the Ulugbek Observatory.
Visit to the tasting room of the winery. Khovrenko, where you will be offered 12 types of wines and cognacs of local production.

 

Dinner at national house Shakhnoza with master class of hanum.

SAMARKAND-TASHKENT (evening train, 17:20-19:44)

Sightseeing: Afrosiab museum and settlement, St Danel’s tomb. Then drive to silk paper workshop  Konigil to see the prosses of making paper.

17:20     Back to Tashkent by speed train “Afrosiab”

19:44    Arriving in Tashkent.

 

Farewell dinner at restaurant Piligrim with national dance show.

  1. For booking a tour is important to provide a copy of passports and airline tickets of tourists.
  2. Cancellation of the tour ordered more than 3 months before the arrival date: 2 months before - without penalty, 1.5 months before - 30% of the tour cost, 30 days before - 50% of the tour cost, a week before -100% of the tour cost. In case of ordering a tour in less than 30 calendar days, an advance payment of 100% is required and non-refundable.
  3. Uzbekistan Airways National Company provides children under 2 years old with a discount of 90% of the cost of an air ticket. Children under 12 years old get a discount of 50% of the cost of the ticket for domestic destinations.
  4. GAZHK Uzbekistan Railways Company provides children under 9 full years a discount of 50% of the cost of a train ticket.
  5. Hotels of similar category will be provided if at the time of booking specified hotels do not have available rooms.

  2. All guides are certified by the State Tourism Committee.
  3. The price for the tour may change due to increasing of the cost of air / train tickets, hotel rates, an increase in the price of fuel for cars, and other factors affecting the pricing of a tour.
  4. In case of prepayment for the tour less than 50% of the total cost of the tour, the tour operator keeps the right to change the price considering the situation on the market.
