Transfer to Khiva. 

Start sightseeing tour of Khiva: Ichan Kala city is an open museum - the historical inner city of Khiva in Uzbekistan, surrounded by powerful walls, became the first World Heritage Site in Central Asia. Built for centuries (the most ancient monuments of architecture belong to the XIV century) fortifications and palaces, mosques and madrasas, mausoleums and minarets, caravanserais and baths turned Ichan-Kala into a unique city-monument. Officially, the status of the city-reserve Old Khiva received in 1968.: Kunya Arch (16th c.), Ak-Mosque (18th c.), Koryhona. Minaret and Juma Mosque (16th c.), Pakhlavan Makhmud Complex (14th c.), Shirgazi - Khan Madrasah. Madrasah Amir Tura (18th century), Madrasah Muhammad Amin Inak (17th century), Kutlag Murad Inak Madrasa  (18th century), Madrasah Muhammad Amin Khan (18th century). Minaret Kalta Minor (18th century), Madrasah Muhammad Rahim Khan (18th century). Tash Khovli (18th century).

KHIVA – AYAZKALA – TOPRAKKALA – KHIVA (road transfer, 135 km, 2-3 hrs one way)

Breakfast in the hotel.

Drive to Kyzyl Kum desert to visit ancient fortress Ayaz Kala, located on the top of a high hill and rising above surrounded desert, it was one of the most reinforced fort outlying the desert Kyzylkum.  And Toprakkala famous not only with its unusual architecture but also with unique finds in ancient Khorezmian language, discovered at four building in the south-eastern part of the palace.

Lunch at yurt camp. Drive back to Khiva.

KHIVA – BUKHARA (road transfer, 440 km, 7-8 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel.
At 08:00 am drive across the famous Kyzyl-Kum desert and along the Amudarya River.
Arrival in Khiva. Leisure time. Visiting the souvenir shops and workshops. Overnight at the hotel.

Sightseeing tour of the city of Bukhara: Historical and architectural complex Lyabi-Khaus, madrasas and khanaka Nadir Divan Begi, Madrasah Kukeldash, Arch Citadel, Poi Kalyan minaret and mosque and Madrassah Miri-Arab, Ulugbek Madras, Madrassah Abdulaziz-hana, Ark fortress, Bolo Khauz, Samanids mausoleum and Chashma-Ayub mausoleum.

BUKHARA

Breakfast at hotel. We're going out of town, where we are looking at one of the saints in the Muslim world, the places - the necropolis of the Sufi mystic of the Order “ Naqshbandi” by Bahauddin Naqshbandi.

Next, follow the summer palace Sitorai Mohi Khosa - the last emir of Bukhara. 
Madrassah Chor-minor (19th century). It is decorated with 4 minarets.

Night in Bukhara

BUKHARA –SARMYSHSOY-NURATA – AIDARKUL (road transfer, 280 km, 3-4 hrs)

Further, our path lies in the direction of the Nurata Mountains, through Sarmyshsoy, famous Petroglyphs and pictographs made by early man survive in many parts of the world. There are over 4,000 petroglyphs and pictographs scattered along the gorge over a distance of two kilometers. Most of the them are approximately 6,000 - 4,000 years old; the oldest of them are over 10,000 years old. 

Further continue driving to Nurata. In Nurata you can see ancient mosque of the 12th century, and holy spring where a lot of fish swim in the mirror-clear water. By the way, this water contains about 18 elements of the periodic table, among which there is chlorine. It is quite rare in nature. Next, we follow one of the largest lakes in the country - Aidaykul, the length of which is 350 km long and 20 km wide.

Fishermen live on the lake all year round. We stop at Yurt Camp. Camel riding (30 min) and free time.

Dinner around the campfire with Kazakh folk songs - Akyn.

AIDARKUL – KHAYAT village (road transfer, 130 km, 1.5 hrs)

Breakfast at the camp. In the morning visit desert Aidarkul Lake. Free time on the lake. 

Enjoy your time on the lake and have lunch.

In the afternoon depart to Khayat village, which is located in Nurata Mountains to see unique landscapes and rare animals and plants; to observe the life of people with a different culture; to find oneself in an unusual atmosphere and to feel people’ life flowing steadily in harmony with the environment – this is what attracts so many tourists to the region.

In the evening dinner at the guest house in Khayat village.

KHAYAT village – UKHUM village - SAMARKAND (road transfer, 210 km, 3-4 hrs)

After breakfast hiking to the neighboring Uhum village along the mountain valley of Tychaksay via the mountain ridge which separates Khayat and Uhum villages. Further hike to the Karaul Peak (1091 m) and continuation of the route to Uhum village.

Picnic lunch in the Uhumsay valley. Meet the local residents of the Uhum village and see the carpet workhouse.

Drive to Samarkand. Arrival and check in to the hotel.

Samarkand (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner) 

Breakfast in the hotel.

First we look m Gur-Emir - the burial place of Timur (Tamerlane) - Samarkand ruler (reigned 1370-1405) and members of his family. Under Timur’s rule, the city reached its highest peak. From his military campaigns, Timur brought various craftsmen who participated in the construction and decoration of the city. During the years of rule, Timur conquered a vast territory, which included Turkey, Iran, all of Transcaucasia, Iraq, Afghanistan, northern India and Central Asia.

After we visited the Mausoleum Registan square meters, three madrasahs - Ulugbek, Thiel-Corey, Sher-Dor, who make up the whole ensemble. We also visited the m musical workshop. Here the master makes a variety of folk musical instruments and he himself demonstrates their sound.

After we visited the m Registan Ulugbek observatory. Ulugbek - Timur's favorite grandson - a great scientist, astronomer, and also the ruler of Samarkand. Ulugbek and his father divided the rule of the country after the death of Timur. Ulugbek remained to rule Samarkand. In addition to governing the city, Ulugbek was fond of sciences. Back in the 15th century, he precisely calculated the duration of the year in his observatory, calculated the location of many stars. He had a huge library. From the observatory to the present day, only a small piece is preserved under the ground and carved into a piece of rock, about 10 meters deep. The whole device rose another 30 meters above the ground. Ulugbek made his discoveries with the help of this device. The observatory was found by Russian explorer Vyatkin , who spent half his life dedicated to searching it.

We also visited the m Bibi KHanim. According to some, it was built by Timur’s older wife when he was on one of the trips. So she wanted to show her love.

Night in Samarkand

SAMARKAND - TASHKENT (evening train, 17:00-19:10)

Visiting the settlement of Afrasiab and a museum dedicated to the finds. Afrasiab - the ancient location of Samarkand. 

We also visit the Mausoleum of St. Daniel. Near the mausoleum is pistachio tree. He is over 500 years old. 

 At the end of the tour we are exploring the local Siab market. They sell everything you want - dried fruits, spices, nuts, cereals, sweets and more. 

 At 16:00 transfer to train station and at 17:00 fast train Afrosiab takes away us to the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. Arrival at 19:10. Transfer to hotel and check in.

TASHKENT

After breakfast start excursion: We will go to Hast Imam Square - the religious center of Tashkent, which is located in the old city, inside residential neighborhoods with old mud houses. You will have a walking tour through the picturesque old streets. Then we go to the functioning Kukeldash madrasa: students live and study here. Visit Chorsu Bazaar and take a walk along the alleys full of dairy products, dried fruits and vegetable and fruit pyramids. Further visit Independence square, Amir Temur square, some metro stations.

Night in Tashkent

TASHKENT – PARKENT - TASHKENT (road transfer, 50 km, 1 h) 

After breakfast departure from Tashkent in the direction to Parkentsky district.

A visit to the Institute of Solar Physics, where a senior researcher will tell and clearly demonstrate how the station works. The Institute was founded in November 1943, is one of the oldest institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Here studies were started in the field of physical electronics, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, nuclear physics, cosmic ray physics, solar technology, high-temperature materials science.  

Drive outside of the city to the winery « Cháteau Hamkor "which is located in the village of Namdanak - Parkent district of Tashkent region and has its own vineyards, the total area of ​​which is more than 250 hectares. The winery is located at an altitude of 1100 m above sea level and was founded in 1992. Upon arrival, a tour of the winery (40 min), a visit to the wine cellar, where selected collection wines are stored in oak barrels and perennial bottles. The tasting of noble drinks begins with white dry varieties Riesling, Kuldzhinsky, Soyaki , Muscat of Alexandria. Turning to the tasting of red dry wines, it is proposed to start with the pink dry Aleatiko variety and continue with the Pinot Noir, Saperavi, Hindogni, Cabernet Sauvignon varieties . Wine tasting is accompanied by a variety of snacks in the form of cheese, cheese, local bread, etc. for full disclosure of aromas and tastes of tasted wines. 

After the tasting, guests of the winery are also offered a visit to the village of Sukok, where lunch is organized and you can enjoy the wonderful mountain scenery. Lunch can be started with national soups mastava or shurpa. Main course - a variety of famous kebabs.

Return to Tashkent.
